ChessKid, the scholastic extension of Chess.com aimed at a younger target audience, has reached the milestone of 10,000,000 individual child accounts. 

To celebrate the achievement, ChessKid is offering free access to its Gold membership features for all visitors on January 20 and 21. This includes unlimited access to bots and puzzles, as well as a treasure trove of interactive lessons and videos by experienced chess instructors.

Some of the website’s most well-known players, several of whom received their early chess training on the site, include FM Tani Adewumi, IM Alice Lee, IM Shreyas Royal, and FM Faustino Oro.

Along the way, ChessKid has partnered with numerous school districts and government organizations, including the Ministry of Education in Bolivia, to fulfill their mission of spreading the love and understanding of chess to as many young people around the world as possible.
