The last Monday of June is approaching, and with it comes the next edition of Chess Done Quick. This time, Chess.com invites top chess streamers to pull out the big guns and give their best in a bullet speed run to snatch their share of the $12,000 prize fund!

Chess Done Quick Bullet Edition starts on June 28 at 10 a.m. PT/19:00 CEST. For 3 hours and 20 minutes, streamers will try to outpace the competition in a series of bullet challenges. With many bounties and a U2000 section, every streamer will have a shot at winning!

CDQ Bullet Edition

This month’s event will reward the swiftest players. With bounties such as “first to checkmate with knight and bishop,” even the sharpest bullet experts will have to give it their best to collect the prizes.

This new edition of Chess Done Quick follows up on the success of last month’s event. During May’s CDQ Puzzle Edition, GM Ray Robson amazed viewers with his puzzle-solving skills and took home the first-place prize of $1,500. The young talent reached an impressive 3558 puzzle rating, the highest anyone could achieve during the four-hour event. He also won the “best 3-minute puzzle rush” bounty, adding $500 to his earnings.

Meanwhile, WIM Jesse February won first place in the U2000 section and took home the $1,000 prize. The streamer demonstrated great tactical skills by ending the event with a 2668 puzzle rating.

The 2021 Women’s African Champion also took home an extra $500 for being the first streamer to reach a 1600 puzzle rating in her section.
