Hedy Lamarr was an Austrian-American actress and inventor. A Hollywood walk-of-famer, she is also famous for her work with frequency-hopping signals, a technology that paved the way for Bluetooth, GPS, and Wi-Fi.

Ada Lovelace

Ada Lovelace was a 19th century writer and mathematician. She is often considered the first computer programmer for her work on the Analytical Engine, the world’s first computer.

Mary Jackson

Mary Jackson was the first black female engineer to work at NASA. The 2016 movie Hidden Figures celebrates her accomplishments as a trailblazer and leader.

Malala Yousafzai

Malala Yousafzai is a Pakistani human rights activist known for championing girls’ education. In 2014, she became the youngest person to receive a Nobel Prize.
