Submit Your Predictions For The 2023 WSCC Bracket Contest


The 2023 Women’s Speed Chess Championship starts on November 13, promising plenty of fast and furious action for speed chess fans to enjoy. Eight of the game’s quickest-thinking women will compete to see who will be crowned as this year’s WSCC champion.

Defending champion GM Kateryna Lagno will seek to retain her title against a strong field of contenders, including GMs Hou Yifan, Alexandra Kosteniuk, Valentina Gunina, Harika Dronavalli, IM Vaishali Rameshbabu, IM Polina Shuvalova, and WGM Priyanka Nutakki.

Submit your predictions before Monday, November 13 at 8 a.m. ET / 2 p.m. CET to participate. Predictions will be locked after the deadline, so make sure you don’t miss your chance!

How To Participate

Click the button above to go to the 2023 Women’s Speed Chess Championship bracket, and predict who you think will win each match. You get points for every prediction that you get right. Whoever has the most points by the end of the tournament wins the competition! There will also be a prize given to a randomly chosen participant, so even if you’re not a chess-prediction legend you’re still in with a chance to win.

Please make sure you submit your Chess.com username as part of your prediction; it’s also recommended to create a Challonge account to make it easier to review your bracket.

Procedures For Contacting/Announcing Winners And Giving Out Prizes

We will be in touch with winners through Messages on Chess.com or via the e-mail provided in their submission.

Contact will be made within one calendar week after the contest ends.

If prizes are given out continuously throughout an event, contact will be made one week after the event ends.

In contests where winners are picked randomly from chats on Twitch, YouTube, and Chess.com, everyone who gave the correct answer will be raffled using software that will ensure an impartial and random selection of winners.

By participating in the event, you are consenting to Chess.com using your name/image for the purpose of administration, prize fulfillment, use in a publicly available winners list, and related Chess.com event promotion.
