Burgas. 11-year-old Tsvetan Stoyanov won the gold medal in the European Youth Chess Championship in the group under 12 years. The tournament was held in Mureck, Austria, the press office of Bulgarian Municipality of Burgas announced.
The young chess player is member of the Burgas 64 Club.
Tsvetan literally defeated his rivals with 9 consecutive victories.
Mayor of Burgas greeted the young gold medal winner for the serious success he achieved.
